[opensuse] Networkmanager, not very stable...
HI list, I just followed the threads about Networkmanager - which in my case isn't very stable either. (SuSE10.3 Intel 3945 on DELL). Actually, it used to be quite ok, but then I upgraded Networkmanager to 0.7 something. Hmmmm.. Never mind, if I try again and again, it will finally connect. But sometimes I see TWO ticked connections on my list. Eh...anyone know what that means? The attached jpg shows such a situation. One connection is encrypted the other is not. -- -------------------------------------------- Med venlig hilsen/best regards Verner Kjærsgaard Novell Certified Linux Professional 10035701

I also have these problems... I filed a bug https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=398135 last month.

Same here. Sometimes it just connects, sometimes I have to try a second time and sometimes 5, 6, 7 times...

Never seen this... But sometimes Knetworkmanager doesn't see my own WLAN, no matter how often I try (well I never tried longer than half an hour...). I have to reboot then. Very strange. I can live with it, but it's not exactly inspiring... hope the Knetworkmanager problems will be solved sometimes.. There are a few problems with it. I've also noticed I often can't see networks I know are there, including my own. Last night, I counted 11 with WiFi Radar, but Knetworkmanager was only showing 3 and didn't even show mine, which it was connected to. And there's still the issue with OpenVPN. -- Use OpenOffice.org <http://www.openoffice.org> -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
