I've seen lots of messages that people are getting it. Are these hit-and-miss, or are tier-1 suppliers shipping 9.2 (update) as of right now? The SuSE shop doesn't indicate that they are shipping, nor does Amazon. Regards, dk

That may depend on when you ordered it... may of us jumped on the pre-order item that Digital River put up I got my copy from Suse.com/Novel/DigitalRiver One of the guys who got his in the first flurry I *think* ordered from Amazon, and one other guy said he got his thru another reseller, like Chumbo or similar. A day or so ago there were complaints that the demand had outsripped the supply and it would be a little while til the rest of the orders could be filled, but how long is a "little" while anyway??? When you're waiting, it's forever.... -- j -- nemo me impune lacessit

I've got someone non tech testing the thing now <G> So far he has pretty well figured out how to do most things w/o asking. HE is downloading Crossover to set it up on that box to test... will report more, probably tomorrow ... ( pre exhisting engagement will stop most of his finishing the thing and certainly it will stop the testing of it til tomorrow. ) -- j -- nemo me impune lacessit

Well I received my copy on Thursday. Not bad for Australia, which normally has a delay of 2 to 3 weeks after SuSE releases in the US. -- Regards, Graham Smith ---------------------------------------------------------

I got mine on friday from my local Book store (I'm in Basel, Switzerland)... Interesting, was that they had the English version, but the German version was on hold.... I usually, end up with german manuals, so I don't have to wait the extras 2 to 3 weeks for the english translation. I think this is the first NOVEL influence I've seen so far! The second, was the unbelievable books SuSE delivered to the book store with 9.2... Really good stuff... Jerry

In addition to the two included with SuSE? If so, what are they?
The 3 I bought are (in German): "Linux Manager Guide" (More or less Everything you need to know to do an "Open Source vs Closed Source" study) "Fehler Diagnose und Problem Behebung Unter Linux" (~Error Diagnostics and Correction under Linux) Contains Explicit Step-by-Step diagnostic procedures for Hardware/Software/Configuration Errors under Linux in general and SuSE specifically "Das Linux Video Buch" (~The Linux Video Book) Everything I need to know about Video Processing under linux so I can support my Daughter who is starting a carrier in Filming / editing industry... (And thinks she needs a MAC!) Even includes special kernel tweeked by SuSE! Jerry

I recieved mine from suse.com/novell.com yesterday. (i am in Los Angeles, California). I ordered last Sunday (the 31st.). I am coming from Debian, and I really like the polish of 9.2 Pro. I am having a hard time finding everything in SUSE land, but I am getting there. Cheers, Eric
