[opensuse] imap, thunderbird and roundcube
Hello, I come again with the same subject, because I have an other problem (minor) on the very same config. On Thunderbird (imap, dovecot server), I deleted three folders. thses folders do not show anymore in roundcube (and squirrellmail) on the server, but they keep coming again in thunderbird. I'm not sure when. If I delete them, they disappear, but I see them again sometime after (after reboot? after update?) I notice this because then the folder list is too long to be seen in my screen :-) any idea what I can do? these folders are empty thanks jdd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

I just tried: delete the folders, compress folders, exit th and reload it: they are again there... jdd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Well... I found a solution to get rid of them, but not an explanation... removing the folders and index files from .thunderbird do not sove the problem, I had to connect to the server and delete the folders from ~/Mail I was thinking at this when I noticed that the folders come back only after a little while, that is when Th connected to the server. looks like there is some deleted flag that is seen by squirrellmail and roundcube, but not by Thunderbird, may be dovecot? jdd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Stop dovecot, possibly the clients, then edit the subscribed list in the server (it is a plain text file). Also, delete the folders if they do exist. Once I had to remove the account in Thunderbird and add it again. I found no other way to convince it about what folders were real or not. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
