[opensuse] forcing printer to use given paper tray
Hello: I have a laser printer (Kyocera FS-1010) with a manual paper tray and an internal paper tray. If there is paper placed in the manual tray the printer always uses the paper from it. Is it possible to select which tray to use when printing, eg. order the printer to use paper from the internal tray even if there is paper in the manual tray? I mainly would like to do this in openoffice writer/impress and pdf reader (acroread, kpdf). Thanks, Istvan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Well, if in the printer configuration (cups webpage, or OOo printer properties) I select paper source automatic, it hapens what you describe (an hp laser), so that should be normal. But in the same place i can choose paper. If your printer ignores this, I believe it is your printer that is made that way. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
