Re: [SLE] Linux Today - ZDNet: Mandrake Linux Policy Angers Members
Agreed. Also, You have to look at this. They charged for SO 5.2 in a box w/ support but still let you download the huge monster if you had the pipe to do it. They haven't announced much about pricing and availablity..so lets see if it will be free or supercheap to download. Besides..OpenOffice is just StarOffice w/ out the flashy crap that no one really needs. It's like the difference between Mozilla and Netscape. Netscape is WAY behind Mozilla in speed and feature because they have to be careful not to release to fast or it makes users of that other OS very nervous..because they think that once software is released there are very little if any bugs in it. *grin* * Brad Sims (bmsims1@insightbb.com) [020323 19:44]: ->Why not just use OpenOffice, instead of StarOffice? -> ->-- ->To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com ->For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com ->Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq and the ->archives at http://lists.suse.com -> --=====-----=====-- mailto:ben@whack.org --=====-- "I've never been quarantined.
