[opensuse] 11.0 KDE3 - repeated 'knotify' crashes
Listmates, On 11.0 x86-64, KDE 3.5.10 "release 33.1", I keep getting knotify crashes. They happens fairly regularly. Basically, something calls knotify and then I get the backtrace window but it doesn't capture any useful information. See: http://www.3111skyline.com/download/openSUSE_bugs/knotify-crash.jpg They happen more frequently with quanta, but I can't say it is exclusively quanta. I have looked at knotify --help-all and there doesn't seem to be a way to directly test it by piping text into it. Does anybody have ideas of what I can check or how to troubleshoot? -- David C. Ahah! Added the -devel packages and I think I caught the knotify bug with backtrace -- Now what does it mean and how do I fix it? Is this something to open a bug on? Here is the backtrace output: System configuration startup check disabled.
