[opensuse] xulrunner update patch problem
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, I haven't updated for three months. I did it three days ago, and it seemed succesfull. Now I have an installable xulrunner patch. When I try to install it, then nothing happens and after another zypper refresh and zypper update it wants to install it again. How could I solve this problem? I found only bug #458663, but it mentions error messages, I haven't got any error messages. TIA. Rodney.
Thanks, so I can not do anything now, just wait for the fix. BTW I don't understand my situation clear. So the needed patch is installed, just try to install again, or this patch isn't needed for me at all. In short, am I in security danger, because this patch can not be installed? TIA. As far as I can tell the patch is not required because the packages that the patches relate to are already up to date, hence the patches won't install. That is my understanding from reading the various responses on the bug report. I note that its status has been changed from major to critical in the last 48 hours or so. A fix was released a week or so ago but it didn't resolve the problem on 11.0; I'm guessing that with a status of critical it will be getting some more urgent attention.
