Re: [SuSE Linux] Keeping up to date
Try their FTP site, ftp.suse.com/suse_update it has the updates for 5.2 and 5.3, also ftp.suse.com/pub/SuSE-Beta has beta 6.0. This site also has the glibc updates. I beleive it is called the opatch for Oracle.
I did look there. My complaint is that the updates are not very up to date. :) But, opatch was what I needed! Thank you Bill! I'm a little surprised that SuSE chose to name it opatch and totally fail to mention anywhere that it contains glibc, but now that it's installed things are happy again. - Scott - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A</A>> and the archiv at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A</A>>
Are you saying that some "opatch.rpm" takes care of upgrading to glibc?
