[SLE] Dump gives bad magic on ReiserFS partitions
I'm starting to use dump here and I'm getting "bad magic number in super-block while opening filesystem" on my ReiserFS partitions. Does dump not support ReiserFS??? Wow, talk about not wanting to see something that's right in front of my face. I read the man page twice even. That kind of sucks as SuSE sees to be pushing ReiserFS as the default journaling filesystem and it seems that if they are going to push it that they should have all the basic filesystem utilities provided for ReiserFS. I just did a man -k dump and I see no dump compatible with ReiserFS. I hope it's going to be there for 7.0?????? I guess I'll resort to tar for now. Not at the current time. Dump is very closely related to the ext2 filesysten - it is not a trivial task to make it work with ReiserFS, too...
