[SuSE Linux] Vmware!
Just downloaded and installed VMware tonight, all I can say is wow! truly amazing! Talk about multitasking? What would you call running two operating systems at the same time? VMware is going to be huge. In view of the regular interest in VMware shown on this list, members may like to be aware of the "vmware-linux" discussion list set up by my friend John Logsdon. To subscribe to this list, send to majordomo@mcc.ac.uk a message containing the line subscribe vmware-linux in the body. Subscription needs owner-approval and user-confirmation, so there will be a step or two to go through before it is finalised. Best wishes to all, Ted. -------------------------------------------------------------------- E-Mail: (Ted Harding) <Ted.Harding@nessie.mcc.ac.uk> Date: 01-May-99 Time: 12:08:53 ------------------------------ XFMail ------------------------------ -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A> and the archive at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A>

To subscribe to this list, send to
majordomo@mcc.ac.uk
a message containing the line
subscribe vmware-linux
To anyone who may have attempted to subscribe to the vmware-linux list: Unfortunately, it seems that on Friday night or early Saturday morning the machine that runs the majordomo services at mcc.ac.uk went down, and it is still down. Therefore, any attempts to subscribe as given above will fail until the machine is running again. Since tomorrow (Monday) is "Mayday" holiday, it is possible that the machine will remain down until Tuesday. This is beyond my control. Quite possibly, attempts to deliver will continue for a few days and therefore succeed on Tuesday without further intervention on your part, but if you do not receive notification by mid-day Tuesday you should later attempt to re-subscribe. My apologies for having caused anyone to go down what, temporarily, is a blind alley. Best wishes to all, Ted. -------------------------------------------------------------------- E-Mail: (Ted Harding) <Ted.Harding@nessie.mcc.ac.uk> Date: 02-May-99 Time: 12:23:26 ------------------------------ XFMail ------------------------------ -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A> and the archive at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A>
