[opensuse] move panel from top back to bottom
I installed SuSe 12.1 on my ThinkPad T60 and it is working fine. For some reason, the panel was moved to the top, how can I move it back to the bottom.where it was originally. joezien -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

You'll have to share which Desktop environment you are using. ;) -- Robert Schweikert MAY THE SOURCE BE WITH YOU SUSE-IBM Software Integration Center LINUX Tech Lead rjschwei@suse.com rschweik@ca.ibm.com 781-464-8147 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Are you running in 'laptop mode'? I accidentally did that and the panel jumped to the top (and changed) I can't recall exactly how I fixed that .... something to do with the desktop mode ... plasma ... -- "What we have learned from others becomes our own by reflection". -- Ralph Waldo Emerson -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Simple then.... You'll find a cashew probably on the right side. Click on it. Then find the words "Screen Edge". Use your left mouse button to grab it and move the panel to whatever edge you want to. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Hi Ed, Thanks for the tip, it worked. I've been using SuSe since 5.3; I have the boxed set 6.3, still use the 484 page manual. Thanks again, jozien -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
