[opensuse] Moving my mail configuration
Hi, I'm about to move to SuSE 10.2 from 9.3 and want to move my entire mail configuration (I'm using kmail). That's all the mail folders (all a subset of local folders, all the messages within them, and all my configuration settings (layot, mail accounts, passwords etc.) Which folders and directories do I need to move? I guess ~/Mail, .kde/share/apps/kmail, .kde/share/config/kmail* any others? I just did that last night! I copied /home/user/.kde/share/apps/kmail/mail/*.* from my old system to the new. You will need to set up your 'accounts' after you transfer the files. I believe there is one more thing to do. There is a bug in kmail and it will not allow you to add to your address box unless something else is done. Sorry, I don't remember what it was, but I had to do it.
