How did you install 9.3? Via cd/DVD i presume as you dont have net. Is the NIC detected in the boot sequence? Is the network card module loaded? Can you detect/set the card "manually" via yast? From a root shell, type

ifconfig

To see what is configured for your NIC.

1. Installation: from CD. I couldn't update my installation because of the problem.

2. The network card was detected in the boot sequence.
