When are you supposed to get back if you don't? ;-) It does smell like spam though. I see his reply to is different than his from addresses. That in itself is not a problem but might be an indicator of spam. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Then "... er... wait a second..." The other day I got a spam email that got my first name and that of my friend correct, on a mail account that I seldom use, so I fell for it. It had a link to click (a shortened one) that sent to another site. Immediately Firefox turned red instead of displaying the page and said the site was reported deceptive. Then I looked more attentively at the post and found out it was not really sent by my friend. The bad guys are getting clever and better at this stuff :-( - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. I always hover over the links in a suspicious email, to see where they actually go to. Also, I have 3 email accounts, one is GMail, which I don't use for anything, other than Google stuff. There is also my old address, from my ISP and my new address in my own domain. When I see things in either of the 2 older accounts, I get suspicious, as there should be little new email in either. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

I display plain text by default, so differences are obvious.

I just use a different From address for every company I write to. Then I can usually tell if something is wrong. My opensuse subscription predates that policy. But o.o doesn't seem to have sold my address :) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Yes, it is a telltale.
Incidentally, when I do get valid email in my old ISP account, I use reply to so that any response goes to my own domain account. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
