I installed SuSE6.4 with pcmcia 3.1.11 on a Toshiba laptop. Install went fine with the card being recognized correctly. I am able to remove and reinsert the card with cardmgr recognizing it fine. However, when I reboot or power up, I get the following error condition: init_module: Device or resource busy insmod: /lib/modules/2.2.14/pcmcia/i82365.o failed insmod: /lib/modules/2.2.14/pcmcia/ds.o failed Therefore, cardmgr does not install, and no eth0 networking. What do I look at to further investigate this problem? I'm a newbie in this area. By the way, SuSE6.3 installs perfectly on this same laptop. Furthermore, a Compaq Presario laptop with SuSE6.4 pcmcia works fine also. If you look here then you shall find an updated 6.4 package for PCMCIA and it fixes the exact thing you are talking about :) http://www.suse.de/en/support/download/updates/64_update.html It's in Series a. ta for now.... * John Kutil (jkutil@home.com) [000617 15:25]:
