StarOffice 6.0 Pro Office CD work with SuSE 8.2?
Like it says. I'm curious if the StarOffice 6.0 Pro Office CD (sold originally when 8.0 was current) still works with SuSE 8.2. Anyone know? Preston

Preston, The CD won't work as it did for 8.0 & 8.1, but you can still grab the SO6 files from your cd, copy them to the hd or just run them off the cd with standard rpm -Uhv commands in the konsole. That's interesting. Wonder why. If it's temporary (until they get something up on YOU) or permanent. Do they install without hassle manually? Preston

Sure, you shouldn't experience any problems, but remember Sun has updated it a couple of times and those files should be gotten to polish SO6 up a bit. Patrick -- --- KMail v1.5.9.1i --- SuSE Linux Pro v8.1 --- Registered Linux User #225206 On any other day, that might seem strange...
