I am wondering if there is any way that the font size in Fire Fox and other applications can be left how I left them after a session or do I need to increase them every time. Depends which fonts you are referring to. If you mean menu, toolbar & settings fonts, those should stay put from session to session according to the sizes they are set to in desktop settings. If you mean font sizes on web pages that you've used the various web browsers' zoom functions to change, then they generally are supposed to be reset on each new window or tab instance, though the exact time reset happens various by context. If you want fonts in web pages to be start out bigger each time, then you'll have to go into each browser's own settings and change its default size(s). If you mean fonts that vary in size among different applications, you have a more complex problem to solve, the solutions to which will depend on your sharing the details of your desktop environment and the specific applications involved.
