Hi, I have SuSE x86 pro, and I have installed new 2.2.18 and 2.4.2 kernels RPM from SuSE ftp site with YAST. SuSEconfig have been automatically activated after installation. However, on the startup I've got crash with the message: Loading Linux... Uncompressing Linux... ran out of input data What I did wrong? On the Mac I did the same without any problem... Thanks in advance for any suggestion. Andrei

I was unable to boot 2.2.18 kernel which I downloaded from ftp.suse.com 2.4.2 boots and works normally. 2.2.18 just stuck after detecting IDE interfaces. -Kastus
Thanks in advance for any suggestion.
