Hi folks, thought I'd get vnc up to relax a bit. Uncommented the lines in /etc/xinetd.d/vnc to get my Browser-kdm window. So: <whine on> netstat shows the relevant ports to be open. nmap does not. not even from localhost. (???) Same thing if I start vnc from the command line. Only thing that works is starting a vncserver from kde directly. But there I do not get a login: connection refused, even though I set my vnc-password. </whine off> Any hints ?
