I'd like to download pear modules using the built-in pear install function but I need to go through a proxy server that requires authentication. I know about setting the http_proxy via pear config-set http_proxy http://ServerOrIP:port but I don't know how to set a username and password (or if it is even possible). Any guidance would be greatly appriciated.
