I have an asp page from IIS accessing Microsucks SQL Now I found a mod that will allow apache to serve up asp pages... Is the structure of DB2 different to the point that I will have to recode the ASP to access the DB2 database on a SuSE machine? You are running on IIS, so I assume that you are using ODBC or ADO or some stupid database access acronym from M$ to get to SQL Server data. If you have a ODBC/DAO/ADO provider for DB2 then you should be just fine, since that part resides on the IIS server, not on the Linux/DB2 box. There are differences in the SQL language used by DB" and that used by IIS. I think you can expect to do a bit of work with that transition. IIS is basically sybase with a fancy GUI, and sybase runs on linux, so if you want to minimize your porting work that might be a way for you to go. Anders
