[opensuse] Change the boot progress bar image
how do we change the image the one when openSUSE is booting up with progress bar? I mean the one appears right after GRUB. I found some images under /etc/bootsplash/themes/openSUSE/images which has the same image with the one I am talking about but I m not sure which one openSUSE uses coz there are so many images with different resolution. I have a 1280x800 resolution on my screen, and I change the one with that resolution but doesn't work. Any idea? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

This is not the solution which I remember, but if it also solves the 'problem' then it's OK :-) . BC -- Insanity is only a state of mind. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I think that what you are asking about had been discussed a (?)couple of years ago. I thought that I had written down the answer but cannot find it. However, have a look in the Knowledge Base for openSUSE on the website (cannot immediately find it to give you the actual URL). But someone else may remember which file has to be unarchived, then an entry altered, and the file archived again and post the solution here.
