Once you have Konqueror set the way you like it go to Settings, Save View Profile "???" (depending on how you are using; file manager vs web browser, etc). Notice the 3 different View Profile options there. Very handy.

Depends on your View, View Mode setting. Then you may (Icon views) get a Sort option. I prefer Tree View and the Sort option is not an option.
