[opensuse] RIP ReiserFS thread

After reading (at times with great amusement) the thread on ReiserFS which has encompassed many subjects and made myriad valid points, I have decided that I will make no change here for a while. Actually, that is more due to my economic situation than the state of ReiserFS acceptance/rejection by future versions of whatever this distro will be called. Yes, I read all the posts and no, there has been no definitive answer to Anton's question about the future inclusion of reiserfs.ko and mkfs.reiser. There was a tonne of Facebook-ish crap slung back and forth and the exposure of the fact that ReiserFS ain't as dead as some would have like for it to be but there was also a tonne of very useful information so the thread was, IMHO, a net plus. I want to thank everyone who joined into the fray because that thread has been one of the most informative and, potentially beneficial, to me in a long time on this forum. So, with the exception of Anton's question, it seems that all the issues have been settled and this thread can finally be put to rest. Thanks, all. I have no dog in this race, as I don't use Reiser but isn't Anton's question the whole point ? Has it been answered ? M -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
