If I use "mc" to install any package such as "wine.rpm", mc said : wine --> need xpm package to install (something like that) and stop installation. but if I use "yast" to install any package, yast not anyquestion, just install. WHY ? do yast installation make any problem if I run "wine" or "wine" need xpm on runing time which "mc" said ? WHICH ONE IS BEST FOR INSTALLATION OF PACKAGES ?

Use YasT. Installing and keeping track of packages is one of the greatest things it does for you (amongst many others). mc is a handy tool, but by it's very nature, it is generic and therefore has some compromises built into it. YasT is SuSE-specific and more in tune with the distro. :-) -- This Email is 100% Virus Free! How do I know? Because no Microsoft products were used to generate it!
