Just finished upgrading my desktop to 11.1

It started life as 10.3 I believe and I upgraded it to 11.0 and now 11.1

I believe I'm still using KDE3, but I have a lot KDE4 stuff installed.

If I try to attach a file to a gmail based email via firefox, I get a nice little browser window with a lot of directories in it.

If I click on the various directories I move to the new directory. So far so good.

But the browser window is not showing me any files at all. i.e Only directories.

I've looked at my desktop, at /tmp, at a mounted samba share. Per firefox, none of them have any files in them?

Any ideas?

FYI: With Konqueror I see the files and can attach, so this is a Firefox issue primarily.

Just tried firefox / KDE4 and the ability to browse and select attachments is seems to be working fine. So my problem is just with firefox / KDE3. Interesting. I want to experiment with KDE4 so I can easily live with this.
