NLD look and feel for 9.3?
Hi Group. Is it possible to get the look and feel of NLD9 on SuSE 9.3? I realize it's a petty request, but I really prefer the look of GNOME's desktop and icons to those of KDE. I think NLD9 has a smooth and professional look. I like it so much I purchased a copy, but it's lack of support for 3D on my video card, and a few other issues, made it a little too difficult to use as a home desktop (I'd like to get as much performance as I can from my hardware). I purchased SuSE 9.3 Pro, which is a great distro, and hope that someone in this group can help me. Thanks in advance. Jason

SuSE supports both KDE and Gnome, among others. If it's not available when you log in, you'll have to install it.
James, Thank you for replying to my message. I do already have GNOME installed on my laptop. What I'd like to do is change the icons that are displayed under the Applications and Desktop menus. I also wouldn't mind being able to use Red Carpet to do updates, but that can wait for another day. Thanks again. Jason On Mon, 2005-05-16 at 12:09 -0400, James Knott wrote:
