[opensuse] Re: LibreOffice does not run
Anyone else having a problem getting LO to run? I have all updates applied to 11.4 (including KDE4.6.4). The splash screen shows when I try to start office (wrapper), calc or writer and then disappears into oblivion with nothing running. This happened after a recent update -- it used to run fine. I've uninstalled and reinstalled as well. What am I missing? Thanks in advance. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Start it from the command line I bet you'll get some kind of error message. -> lowriter Robert -- Robert Schweikert MAY THE SOURCE BE WITH YOU SUSE-IBM Software Integration Center LINUX Tech Lead rschweikert@novell.com rschweikert@ca.ibm.com 781-464-8147 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Have you changed to the Plastik style recently. My openoffice and libre office installations broke recently and it was to do with the plastik style. If your style isnt oxygen then try changing to it and see what happens. When you run it from the command line may not see any errors (I didnt) and I had to start it with strace (mine was due to a missing widget with plastik) also look for an hs error file that may appear (mine was in my home folder). Hope it helps Andrew -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
