I just started using Suse 10 and noticed that the floppy gets mounted during system-startup. I'm use to Suse 8.1 where I mount and un-mount the floppy as needed. How can I prevent the floppy mount during system startup? I looked breifly in Yast but didn't see anything.
Look at these, especially the first one:

I am using SuSE 9.3, and am having trouble with hotplugging. Actually, I have installed 9.3 on one partition, but am actually using 8.2 . I use my USB card reader a lot, and under 9.3, it only seems to work if it is present at boot up, and only until the first time I remove it. I am thinking of buying 10.0 in the hope that the problem has been fixed. It is not clear from anything I've seen on the list whether it has.

Peter, The first link looks like the info I need. Thank you! I'm not doing any hotplugging so I cannot say whether Suse 10 works there. I just upgraded from Suse 8.1 to 10, and although there are some changes and quirks, I like it! Matt
