Further proof that I don't think it's the CD-R installation: In the control center, under information, under SCSI, there is the following: Attached devices Host: scsi0 channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00 Vendor: HP Model: CD-Writer+ 9100 Rev 1.0c Type: CD-ROM ANSI SCSI revision: 02 ---- I am aware that we had to manually put together IDE-SCSI emultion in prior versions of SuSE, however, it really seems like SuSE 73 did a great job of hardware detection and this is no longer an issue. Again, I'm loathe to go off changing configuration settings since I don't think the burner is at fault. ===== Daniel Woodard __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
