Hi folks There I was, with no problems after upgrading to 2.4.0 when I started to have problems with PPP. If I look at /var/log/messages there's a line referring to : cannot load plugin /usr/lib/password... with an invalid hook regarding CHAP. Anyone else seen this ? Regards Jon

Did you upgrade your pppd package? Kernel 2.4.0 requires a new version. You can check your current version by doing a 'pppd --version' - it needs to be version 2.4.0 or higher. Yes, I had this problem. You should uninstall the package ppp_ssl from the sec series.
