[opensuse] Pidgin
Does anybody know of a location for Pidgin RPMs. I tried running the source, but when it installed, it complained about libpurple. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

You can add that installation source
or do
wget http://software.opensuse.org/download/GNOME:/Community/openSUSE_10.2/i586/p idgin-2.0.0-40.1.i586.rpm
rpm -ivh pidgin [tab complete]
Hi, I use Yast to add the repo and install pidgin. The installation seems OK, but when running pidgin, I got this error: pidgin: error while loading shared libraries: libnm_glib.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory I google, and find only this one URL, which unfortunately is in German: http://www.linux-club.de/ftopic80779.html Something about ldconfig, but, I'm not sure. I run ldconfig but the problem stays. I search rpmfind.net for libnm_glib and it shows NetworkManager-glib for Fedora. I cannot find similar thing in Yast. Has anyone experience this? Looks like I need to upgrade my NetworkManager packages and then install NetworkManager-glib from SuseFactory, and everything is OK :) -- Fajar Priyanto | Reg'd Linux User #327841 | Linux tutorial http://linux2.arinet.org 3:14pm up 5:34, 2.6.18.2-34-default GNU/Linux Let's use OpenOffice. http://www.openoffice.org

You want a '?' there to indicate that it's a question. It's in GNOME:Community -- James Ogley james@usr-local-bin.org http://usr-local-bin.org GNOME for openSUSE: http://software.opensuse.org/download/GNOME:/ Help end poverty: http://oxfam.org.uk/in -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
