[opensuse] 100% cpu load on firefox, unresponsive
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, Since some weeks I see my firefox peg at 100% load (on return from hibernation) and become unresponsive: PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR SWAP S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND 25530 cer 20 0 5691504 1,568g 136272 267020 R 100,7 20,11 136:25.20 firefox But the "about:performance" tab doesn't display a culprit. Perhaps the "about:performance" tab itself. Told to reload, doesn't do it. I can't open new pages, it does not obey. I have to exit it completely and restart it. But this time it cleared, apparently, while I wrote this post. - -- Cheers Carlos E. R. I had this because of an extension. Try to deactivate all extensions. If it is this, activate one by one. Until it represents. At the time it was a non well maintained ad-blocker. Sometimes also the refresh of life bookmarks can be the culprit. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

It is the "about:performance" tab itself, after the computer comes out from hibernation. I click on reload tab, which can take a few minutes, then FF is back to normal. It is now at 6% CPU. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 42.2 x86_64 "Malachite" at Telcontar)
