I installed a program a couple days ago and just added it to my KDE menu under Multimedia. I right clicked on the Start Applications button, chose menu editor, then right moused on Multimedia, added a new item, gave the item the name and command, then clicked Apply. Now all the items under Multimedia are gone except for RealPlayer8 (which was the only option under Multimedia that wasn't in a sub-menu). What the heck?! I had a ton of stuff under there. Anyone know how to get this back? I look under Kmenu editor and it's all still there, I just can't see it in normal mode. Thanks, Tom

Try running 'kappfinder' from the command line (no quotes). -- Cheers, Trey --- Adversity is the trial of principle. Without it, a man hardly knows whether he is honest or not. --Henry Fielding

It's worth noting that kappfinder is in the kdebase3-extra package (not an easy one to guess), and is not installed by default in the Personal edition. Paul Abrahams
