YOU thinks dhcp-server is not installed
I saw the security announcement for dhcp-server so ran YOU to pick it up. To my surprise, YOU did not preselect dhcp-server for installation. When I Select it manually, YOU puts a "G" next to the selection. The "G" means "not relevant for your installation ... not installed". RPM itself knows the package is installed: # rpm -q dhcp-server dhcp-server-3.0.1rc6-8 -- Robert C. Paulsen, Jr. robert@paulsenonline.net

It looks to me like the version number of the RPM wasn't incremented in the security update, so YOU thinks we already have it installed. If you select dhcp-server again, the G will change to an X and it will install anyway. -tara

Tara, Yes, you are right. bringing up the "Show description" display in YOU shows both the installed and the new versions to be "3.0.1rc6-8". -- Robert C. Paulsen, Jr. robert@paulsenonline.net
