Hi everyone
I need some help setting up a Lucent Winmodem in SuSE 6.4 on a IBM 1400i ThinkPad. If this is at all possible.
Has anyone managed to do this yet?

I was not able to set up mine. I had to buy an external modem for my PC. It appears that winmodems are not really modems. They are just a connection to an analogue telephone line. All modem works are on software. Until someone writes that for Linux, I guess you will not be able to use your winmodem.
