Ya know, I love using linux but man, it is frustrating... Why, after updating using Yast, do so many weird things happen to my system. The latest one is that most of the icons I have on my desktop don't work anymore...the properties are the same, the applications are still there, yet they just won't start the app...if i try to start the app right from it's directory, it won't work...i have no idea how this happens. seems mostly with icons that i have created as the icons that are there when you first start x still work fine. -- -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/

I see you are running KDE. This may be a KFM problem. What happens if you start an app from command line- say "kmp3" If that does not work try the complete path-"/opt/kde/bin/kmp3". If that works then you have changed your path somehow. -- Bob F EMail FBob@wt.net A Truly Wise Man Never Plays Leapfrog With A Unicorn... -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
