I get also a "libstdc++.so.2.9 not found" when I run wvdial (I downloaded the libc5 version from ftp.suse.com).
Then I downloaded the source code version. But I'm a newbie and I don't know exactly where to install it and what to do with it. I installed the tar.gz file with yast and I tried "make" but I have "/bin/sh: g++: command not found".
I understand nothing. How to install this program?
g++ is the C++ compiler and is not installed by default. You will find it in the development tools section in YaST. After installing it you should be able to compile wvdial without any problems.
