Has anyone been able to get VMWare 5 to load in 10.0? I have tried, and the modules compile just fine (with more warnings than in 9.3), but vmware will not launch. I have attached a log of running vmware-config.pl. This is the second time it was run, and after I ran 'make cloneconfig && make prepare-all' in /usr/src/linux. Kirk

Try to use these modules http://ftp.cvut.cz/vmware/vmware-any-any-update93.tar.gz They usually work on modern kernels better than the official one. Regards, Andreas openSUSE is SUPER: To help in the SUSE Performance Enhanced Release project visit http://www.opensuse.org/index.php/SUPER

Thanks...that worked. I had to install g++ to make it go, but vmware starts now. Guess this will do until VMWare fixes their release. Kirk
