Hi: I don't have any charmaps: user1@ting:~ $ locale -m locale: cannot read character map directory `/usr/share/i18n/charmaps': No such file or directory I have the following related packages installed: user1@ting:~ $ rpm -qa|grep locale glibc-locale-2.2.5-151 icu-locales-2.2-13 user1@ting:~ $ rpm -qa|grep i18n koffice-i18n-th-1.2-0 kde3-i18n-th-3.0.3-58 kde-i18n-th-2.2.2-404 Anybody know how to get the charmaps, or why Suse 8.1 doesn't have them?
