Go to Configure Desktop (also known as Personal Settings) in the Main menu (or run kcontrol from a shell) Select System Administration / Login Manager, and set it as you like. (You will have to use Administrator mode button at bottom). -- _____________________________________ John Andersen
In kdmrc look for the line UseTheme= set it to UseTheme=true or simply comment it out. Look for the line ShowLog= set it to ShowLog=false or simply comment out. Francesco Michal Hlavac wrote:

hello, now it works, but I must set explicitly in kdmrc file: Theme=/opt/kde3/share/apps/kdm/themes/SUSE miso
