[opensuse] de-activate second screen
Hello, I have two monitors on my laptop, the second being on hdmi. I do not use often this one. I can de-activate it in the kde plasma control center, but tghis need to open the control center, go to the display menu, unclick the activation button and apply, a bit long is there any way to have a button that could activate (in xinerama mode) and de-activate the second monitor from a menu or taskbar? thanks jdd -- http://dodin.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Not sure if it can be done from the GUI in a single-step process. I make it a little simpler by adding a taskbar icon to the Display and Monitor section of System Settings. In Dolphin, switch to editable location bar and erase the contents. Then click the file dropdown on the left and select settings, then enter. Under Hardware, drag the Display and Monitor entry to the taskbar. gumb -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Perhaps I'm missing something, as I haven't used a 2nd monitor much, but doesn't that happen automagically, when you disconnect the monitor? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
