[opensuse] Where is personal shell used set?
When I open a bash shell and modify the settings I give it a name (shell-tom), click on apply and then OK. Where are these modifications saved? I would expect to find them in ~/.profile or ~/.bashrc but they aren't there. I want to have the saved settings used whenever I open a bash shell as the user or another bash shell (shell-root) when su-ing. You open a "bash shell"? :-O How exactly? I'm lost. Or are you opening a terminal in some desktop? You will have to say which terminal and which desktop. - -- Cheers, Carlos E. R.
