Hi! I desire to do a screen capture. I tried to do that with xwpick, but it doesn't work, because this program can't work with TrueColor. So that it works, you must use only PseudoColor and , in this case, the image is not good. So, can I use another program which can work with TrueColor ? You can use xv to do screen caps. You can capture individual windows,
sections of the screen, etc.
xv should be on the SuSE CDs somewhere. not sure where tho. :(

If you have ImageMagick installed (from [gra]), you should be able to use: # import -window root screenshot.png Of course, you're going to need ImageMagick installed to distill that 24/32-bit image down to 16-bit anyway, right? ;) -- -=|JP|=- "Why, oh, why didn't I take the blue pill?" I've used the GIMP and it works quite well. It even has a delay if you need to use it.
