I get the error Master Resource Control: previous runlevel: N, switching to runlevel: 3 Starting sound driver: snd-card-emu10k1 modprobe: Can't locate module snd-card-emu10k1 and if i try and insmod snd-card-emu10k1 by hand i get an error too or should i be loading emu10k1 I tried following the portal.suse.com instructions for removing the sound module. and then ran yast2 but it created the same thing. anyone dids On Saturday 17 March 2001 14:45, you wrote:

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Did, Get the drivere, lib's and utils for the ALsa-5.10b packages from www.alsa-project.org ./configure make make install Do this first to the drivers, then the libraries and then the utils. Once this is done run alsaconf. Its either alsaconf or alsaconfig. Then it will work wonderfully. Matt On Saturday 17 March 2001 07:24, dids wrote:
