My network card has switched its IRQ to that of the secondary IDE interface, where my CD-?ROM drive is. So I can't even upgrade by ftp, because I need the cd to boot first. How do I force it's IRQ back to where it belongs? -- Bob Rea Freedom is only privilege extended unless enjoyed by one and all --Billy Bragg rear@sirius.com rrea@askjeeves.com http://www.sirius.com/~rear -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
You could probably set the irq for the network card slot in the bios. It depends on the bios version you have. I had to do that quite a few times with modems.
