Hi I just try using php on my web page and come to find i dodnt even have php on the system here ? do i need to compile php in apache to make it run or can i just compile php and let it default to the install dirs it will put it and if so what would i need to do other then that thanks for any info! Well let me try again i have apache 2.0.28 install here it doesnt have php i mean i cant run any php script from my webapge as php isnt anywhere on the box i need to know do i need to compile php into apache intself or do i just install php in some dir path and that is it just not sure what! Install mod_php4* related files should work. If you do it through Yast or Yast2 the setup program itself will solve dependencies so you just need to ask it to install the main mod_php4 package. There may be mod_php3 files also, but surely you'll need those ones just if you have a php3 application that's not compatible with php4 (there's some but little differences).
