That's in xshared-4.0.2-4 (or 4.0.3 if you have updated your X server). You should find the file at /usr/X11R6/lib/libXpm.so.4

Yes its all there but the versions are not correct. Whats interesting is that with 7.0 it install jsut fine and locates all its dependancies. With 7.1 its no longer available on the DL version so you need to do it from scratch installing shlib and some other library which as of yet I have not been able to indentify. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Chris

I've WP8 running on my wee beastie & the only thing I can think that maybe different, is some stuff in the X-libx, to do with backwards compatability. Are you certain you have.... yup its installed, (shlibs5) when I check all the further requirements LibXpm.so.4 is there but it points to libXpm.so.4.11 and the requirement I have been led to understand from reading the Corel list is libXpm.so.4.9 Now interestingly enough I installed 7.0 with SuSE's wp8 rpm and it works just fine. However on 7.1 its not available in the DL version so got the tarball from Twocows. They all ended up with the same requriement and deficiency.....strange. Total confused at this end...:) Chris

<snip> Hmmm, two ideas spring to mind. 1. create a symlink, called libXpm.so.4.9 that links to libXpm.so.4.11 2. back up libXpm.so.4.11 & then copy libXpm.so.4.9 into where the newer file is & cross your fingers.... *BFN* Greek Geek :-) Now a registered SuSE Pro user
