If I wanted zypper/yast to save the rpm files it downloads when doing an online update, how would this be done?
So for the few that want them it is being requested that the majority that don't want them should get them?
Who wrote that? Already several times in this thread, it has been pointed out -- and at least once to you -- that people (not me, mind you, I don't use zypper/yast) want this save-rpm-behaviour as an *OPTION*. Do you know what an option is? Have you ever heard of such a thing as a checkbox where you can select something like "keep them" or "don't keep them"? You know, ever seen such a wierd thing as an option checkbox? It doesn't seem so. My point is i believe the bugzilla would want that as the default option, which to me should not be it. The default should be to download and apply the Delta rpm which is what I prefer since it is faster and takes less bandwith. AN option is fine.. and I am all for options, but the option should be off by default. Is that hard for YOU to comprehend? Sheesh .. I think everyone on the mailing list has had a bad week.. so much attitude..
