Hello All, I upgraded 4 boxen of SuSE Personal 7.2 w/KDE 2.2 from the most recent rpm's on SuSE's site dated 8/27/01. On 3/4 machines, with all being equal and running xfree 4.1, on one works with the screensaver. The others act like they are but never blank out. If move the mouse, a screen refresh takes place, but the screen saver never shows. On the machine that the screensaver does work, when the focus is not on the current window, the title bar turns gray as if it is inactive. On the others it does not. I did run SuSEconfig as had been suggested by others on the list who recently upgraded. Other than that, KDE2.2 runs just superbly. Any clues? Any files I should be suspect of? 2/3 non-screensaving machines were reinstall of a "sick" KDE2.2 install, but one was running KDE2.1.2 and this was the first upgrade attempt to KDE2.2.
